TABC Texas Alcohol Beverage Training

Anyone who sells, serves or delivers alcoholic beverages in Texas including persons who immediately manage, direct, supervise or control the sale or service of alcoholic beverages MUST BE TABC CERTIFIED in order for the business to continue to receive "Safe Harbor" from fines and penalties related to employees actions.

TABC certification is not required by Texas laws yet, but it might as well be. Failure to certify everyone who needs it can cause the business major problems. If a business can't prove that all its employees who sell, serve, direct, control or manage the sale or service of alcohol are TABC certified when a violation occurs, the business stands to have its license suspended, revoked and or pay fines. These business fines are IN ADDITION to any employee and management fines and penalties. The business fines are known as administrative penalties and are tried in a special Texas regulatory court.

PLEASE NOTE!

The prices listed below INCLUDE both the online training course fee and the normally collected Health Department's fee for your certification card.

Fees collected for the Health Deptartment by this site are sent by TexasFoodHandler.com for your convenience to those agencies. In those instances, no additional trip to the Health Department is necessary for you to make.

Any department that might still require you to submit information directly to their offices are noted both during your registration and via your email.
